Mobile Automation Engineer - Appium and Python
(Located in New York, NY)
Our client, one of the longest-tenured and most respected Publications in the World, is seeking a great Mobile Automation Engineer to join their growing Continuous Integration team. You’ll be a key part in building automation test suites for their existing iOS apps, Android apps and mobile web sites. You should have rock solid understanding and experience with APPIUM and PYTHON coding.
Responsibilities & Required Skills:
. Build advanced Automated Test Suites for Mobile Native and Web applications; work closely with development and test engineering teams to automate testing
.2+ years experience in Mobile Apps Automation SPECIFICALLY with APPIUM
. Coding experience with PYTHON (Java acceptable, if willing to learn Python) and strong understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and Programming
. Experience with high-end development and/or test automation within a mature testing environment
. Strong Scripting Skills
. Experience with Automation in an Agile environment is preferred
. Proficient in a Linux / Unix environment
. Bachelor’s / Masters Degree in Computer Science is a big plus
. Experience in a large Media organization is a big plus
