How can i get the state of media of app is mute or in umute state of Android app

I am testing a native Android App using Java .

As a part of my testing, i would like to get the status of media is playing in mute or in unmute state

I did not find a good source for this issue …

Is there a Library to use? or can i do it using adb ?
or any other way doing that?
