Is there a way to automate scanning (bar code, QR code etc.)?

Not sure about now but 2y ago it worked only with simulator.

i have Question -> how can we automate scanning a physical qr code with the help of qr-code image. actually i have android native app in this app i need to scan qr code with the help of scanner and i am not able to automate it.
