Unable to start Inspector session

Hey,

  • Appium Desktop 1.7
  • Windows 10 Pro 64bit
  • Running an Android test using local Appium server

Since recently I am unable to attach Inspector to a running session.

In Attach to Session dialog I see empty input box (with placeholder text Enter your session ID here). The refresh button on the right does not populate the box either.

If I insert session ID of my running existing session (taken from Appium server log) and hit Attach to Session it does not work. The error response says “Error Could not start session”.

The session exists, my test is able to manipulate with app under test in the Android emulator. Seem the Inspector is just not able to connect.
