Can we run appium tests on dev iOS releases?

Hi,

Are we able to run appium tests on dev releases of iOS - simulator or device?

By dev releases i mean pre-release (beta) iOS versions.

I don’t see why not. If its your own app, you should be able to run on devices/simulator and have ids. Appium should be able to look your app, just like any other app.

Have you gone through a sample app first?

Thanks @Satyajit. I’ve been using Appium for quite a while. I was asked if the scripts would still run on a beta release of iOS - say 8.4 or something if it came out,
