Hi all, I’ve been working on setting up a device-farm using the appium plugin found [here](https://devicefarm.org/) and I’ve been having this one issue with a relatively new Xiaomi phone. The issue happens every 2-3 of days, where I have to manually uninstall Chrome and the WebView applications from the phone, because they are a different version. The app I’m testing uses a WebView to serve the HTML content that I’m testing.

Do you all have any suggestions? I’ve tried disabling automatic updates, but I always end up having to uninstall the app from the phone and everything works.

Is there an automated way to install a chrome version and a webview version that actually match each other?

Several good strategies here:
