# How to automate the validation of the incoming SMS content from the specific phone number (Short Code) on real devices using Appium?

Chances of SMS coming to Emulator are limited. I need to know if there is any possibility we can automate the Incoming SMS on the real devices.

Requirement:

1. Post an API Request via Postman which triggers the SMS from say 10900 to my actual phone number
2. I want to open up my real device and navigate to SMS box and search for the message comes from 10900 and validate the content of the SMS with expected.
