Is it possible to use Appium when only having the .ipa file for an iOS app?

I have an iOS .ipa file. That’s it. I did not develop this file and I did not sign it in any way.

Is it still possible to use Appium to test it on a real device? Is there any tutorial for a case like that?

I suppose, we can invoke the .ipa file by using identifier option.
But if you need to install a new app everytime by using app path than you have to use .app
