# Unable to find element in spanish application

Hi,

I’m currently trying to automate spanish mobile application. When I try to locate the elements via uiAutomator, it shows me junk values instead of proper spanish values(i.e; in some spanish characters it shows “?” instead of proper value). If I take those text and try to locate elements through texts, then it fails everytime.

Also I need to assert the same text in spanish locale.

Is there any way to overcome this problem?
