Just putting across a situation where on a onshore - offshore model, if team at offshore needs to code for the mobile app where devices and application is available only at onsite. How can we use appium to do this? Was successful with Android to some extend, by mirroring the selenium grid connected devices using Vysor. But for iOS i dont have any option seen in Market. I dont want to look any commercial solutions.
Comparing other automation solutions (For eg. Experitest solutions, give an advantage over appium in this regard.) Can Appium too can overcome or cover these advantages that is provided by the commercial vendors? If these issues are not solved, i dont see Appium travel too long and open source will be wrapped under a commercial market.
