What is difference between term "selector strategies" and term "Locator strategies"

Hi All,
I gone through terms “selector strategies” and term “Locator strategies” while reading appium.
But unable to understand diff. between them.
selector strategies : http://appium.io/docs/en/commands/element/find-elements/
Locator Strategy: https://appiumpro.com/editions/8

They both are same, people use terminology interchangeably.
