Advantage of Appium over Squish

Can anyone let me know what are major advantages of using Appium over Squish?
I really require this to know.

Appium does not cost over 3000EUR per year. I could not really compare other attributes, because I never used Squish.

I understand that is the main reason but our client is asking for reasons apart from cost why we should move from Squish to Appium.
