Any plan of appium to add support of ios automation from windows machine.

Appium studio already start automating ios from windows machine using same method of appium. Any plan to add same in appium??

In order to do that, experitest is instrumenting the iOS applications and since on Appium philosophy there is:

  • You shouldn’t have to recompile your app or modify it in any way in order to automate it.
  • A mobile automation framework shouldn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to automation APIs.

I highly doubt they will do it.

You can always use VMware to install OSX on Windows as an alternative.
