Appium inspector crashes when trying to start it while datepicker is opened (iOS)

I am trying to get locators for my Appium tests. For some reason, when I try to start Appium Inspector on my iOS app while the date picker is visible in the simulator the Appium Inspector crashes (endless spinner of doom). This does not happen for my Android capabilities.

Can you give some versions of the software you are using? Appium, Inspector, Xcode…

Also, while screenshots are great, they don’t really give any indication of what is going on. How about an Appium server log (not a screenshot of a log)?
