Is there any possible way to throttle the network connection of the real devices through appium other than network desired capabilities.
The most universal solution would be to setup a network proxy and then connect the device through this proxy. A good example would be Toxiproxy, where it is possible to control different network conditions through APIs exposed to multiple languages. I also had some experience working with ATD tool from Facebook, but it’s abandoned now.
Also, some emulators have built-in instruments that allow to change network conditions
