Can we record the script on MAC machine using Appium tool and Re- run the recorded script on Android or Window phone using Appium

I have in many blogs that we can use recording option on MAC and record the flow and run it on MAc using appium. However, I wanted to know recorded script on MAC, can be run on Android and windows machine using appium?

I’m working on strategy, please reply at the easiest is appreciated.

No you can’t do that because those are two different plate-forms.
I don’t advice you to use the record/playback, as the scripts generated by this function are brittle. it only contains informations about the element position in the whole hierarchy of the UI.

Also, Appium is right now only capable of automating IOS and Android applications.
