Can't interact with or locate elements in iOS native app

Hi All,

We are trying to automate an iOS app and are facing issues with some views an elements. I’ve uploaded the app here:

For example on a particular view, a picker wheel appears. We can’t interact with it, and its elements do not appear in the inspector. Everything that appears behind it is still visible in the inspector.

On another view a hint appears over a set of buttons. this does not get picked up by the inspector and we can’t tap to get rid of it. Steps to get to these views are as follows:

  1. Load the app, and signup on the landing view

  2. you will be taken to the profile view - tap on height

  3. the picker wheels will appear
    Here you can run the inspector and try and interact/locate elements. you will see the issue.

  4. Go back to profile view, set and age and click done

  5. Click done on the reminders view

  6. you will now see the instance where a hint is displayed around some buttons
    Again, run the inspector. The inspector can’t load any elements and a snippet from the log at that point is below. It would be great if someone could help here

anyone have the same issue or have any suggestions?

Bump. Anyone on the Appium crew get a chance to look at this one yet?
