Cant swipe horizontal to access button not visible on current screen

Hi All,

Im tying to access a button that is only visible once I swipe horizontal on a Android tablet app
Im coding in C#
I think the class to swipe is android.support.v7.widget.RecyclerView

Any help/guidance will be much appreciated
