Emulator shown as black in Appium Inspector

Hi,

I’m using latest version of Appium Inspector and using Nexus4 emulator.

But it’s shown “black” screen in extreme right side.

please help to fix this issue

I tried this with Nexus5 both KitKat and Lollipop and saw the same issue.
This works with Genymotion simulators. Looks like a bug in Android Emulator

Anyone know a work around for this?

Try disabling ‘Use Host CPU’ in your emulator settings.

I was also facing same issue some time back, I refreshed the screen using “Refresh” button on Appium Inspector and its worked fine.

Alterntively you can use the Android’s UI Automator.
