How to switch to an already launched App?

Hi,

Android Version : 5.0.1
Devcie : Samsung S4

Some operations on the my APP intern launches the Android Settings APP. I need to switch to the already opened Android Settings APP and verify it is launched.

Kindly advice how this can be achieved through Appium.

here you can get the details to launch a app which is in background. The only difference in your case will be that you need apk file of your setting app, which you can extract with Astro file manager app.
