Instruments crashed on startup

Instruments are getting crashed when I launch the Appium server. I am using 1.4.0, xcode 6.2.

Could anyone please tell me what I am missing here.

Please provide server log.

I guess there is something going wrong with Instruments, if I open instruments I don’t see the connected device.

Now I am getting this logs warn: Could not capture device log using libimobiledevice idevicesyslog. Libimobiledevice probably isn’t installed

Try this

  1. Open a sample xcode project
  2. launch instruments from thr
  3. launch your app in instruments
    Now close xcode and instruments
  4. open appium and try running
