Running appium server within android device

I usually create my appium script and execute them over USB, however I am trying to understand if there is any possibility where we can install Appium server within android.

Tests can be supplied by any means into the device and they ll get triggered from the device itself without having any dependency over a separate box.

Let me know your thoughts guys.

Hi souvik,

That’s a really good thought, but I don’t think the Android project will give us any way to do that, not even Apple’s iOS project. So its better to have separate box.
