Safe to update xCode to 6?

Hey Appium Community,

Last time iOS 7 came out and I updated to xCode5, everything was broken for awhile.

Is it safe to update from xcode 5 to xcode 6 to support iOS 8?

I seen a few similar topics, however the last reply was about 12 days ago.

Yes, it’s safe to upgrade now.

Yes! Appium works best on Xcode 6.3.2 right now :smiley:

Apple is slowly adding tools that help us control simulators, which is very nice.
Appium v1.5 plans on only supporting Xcode 6 and higher.
