I have exact same problem. I am unable to interact with web view components on hybrid app.

I have tried different version of chrome driver from 2.12 to 2.15.

I am using appium 1.3.7.2
n java client:1.7.0

I am on Windows

I also made sure setwebviewenabled is set to true and i can inspect with chrome inspect devices.

Someone please help me.
