Text to Speech is getting turned on when launch app in Android TV

I have a strange problem,

I am running appium in Android TV (MI Box), as soon as I launch my app, I can hear it’s reading text and menu’s etc.
it’s also sending keypress twice sometimes, so tests are failing. TTS is turned off in the system settings.

any idea how to make appium not to turn on TTS in android tv?

Can you please tell me how you are automating Android TV using appium. Is it the same as mobile automation?
