Unable to identify the element using Appium inspector

I am able to record the actions, but when I click on elements from element hierarchy it should highlight the respective element, but in my case it is not highlighting. What could be the reason for this?

I was using Appium 1.3.7, there is an issue with 1.3.7 Appium in identifying elements. I downgraded Appium to 1.3.5 now it is working fine.

Yes there is some issue related to Appium in ver. 1.3.6 and 1.3.7, I also faced the same issue while working with Android apps.

It might be fixed in upcoming release of Appium.
