isAppInstalled method is returning always false, and also installApp(“bundleidentifier”) method not working on all iOS simulators.
Can any body help any Alternates on this
Appium - 1.4.0
Mac OSX 10.10 and Xcode 6.3
Simulator: iPhone6
Language: Java
It didn’t work for me either. Are you able to launch the app using appium inspector with the following capabilities?
App Path
Force Device name
Platform version
BundleID
I think you will find that it says “launch failed”. But if you uncheck bundleID it works. This is an issue with Appium 1.4
